Team Status Report, Milestone/Task Priority, Detail Page Improvements, and More

updated on March 1, 2011 by TeamWork Live
We are happy to announce a few new features that just went live today and some features that we've rolled out over the last couple of weeks that we have not formally shared with you yet. They are:

Team Status Report
We added the team status report to the the reports tab. The team status report allows you to see the completion status (number of open, overdue, and completed items) for each of your teams.

Milestone/Task Priority
You can now assign priorities to milestones and tasks when creating them. The milestones and tasks pages are sorted first by due date and then by priority. You can quickly change the priority of a milestone or task by clicking the priority icon (see screen shot below).

Detail Page Improvements
1. We have moved the messages in the detail page into the tab area where the comments are located. The extra space afforded by this move allowed us to show the messages the same way they are shown in the messages section. We think you will like the more consistent messaging interface.
2. We also added the number of comments, messages, and time entries to the tabs so you can quickly see which tabs have content without having to click on them.

Recent Activity Tabs
You may have noticed that the recent activity list in the dashboard is now split into two tabs:
1. The first shows you recent activity from the last week grouped by team workspaces.
2. The second shows you activity that have occurred since your last login or from the last 24 hours (whichever period is longer). This new view allows you to quickly see activities from all of your teams without a lot of scrolling.

New Message Notification Option
You can now set up your notification preferences so that new messages are automatically emailed to you.

Miscellaneous
1. The milestones, tasks, and messages subtabs now show the number of new milestones, tasks, and messages for the current workspace if any. For example if you have a new message in your personal workspace, the messages subtab will appear as "Messages (1)".
2. You can now define the default date range for the time report. To do so, click the [options] link from the time report.
4. You can now change the administrator for a team when editing a team.

Bug Fixes
1. We fixed a bug where reminders were being sent for deleted items.
2. We fixed a bug where team folders were losing their sort order.
