Resolution/Reopen Comments, Notify Via Email, and More

We have lots of new features that we have rolled out in the last few weeks that we want to tell you about. Most of the changes are based on your suggestions so please keep them coming.

Resolution Comment and Reopen Comment for Milestones and Tasks
You can now add a resolution comment and mark an item as completed in one step for a milestone or task you are assigned. To do so, go to the detail page for the milestone or task and click the "Add comment" link. Check the box labeled "Yes, this is a resolution comment (the milestone/task will be marked as completed)" (see #1 in screen shot below). When comment is posted, the task will be marked as completed and the comment will be shown as the resolution comment. As an added benefit, the person who assigned the milestone or task will receive only one email notification instead of two (one for the item being completed and one for the new comment). You can also add a comment and reopen the item in one step for completed milestones and tasks.

Notify Via Email
You can now notify another team member or the entire team of a new milestone, task, page, or comment via email. It's analogous to carbon-copying (CC) other users in your email program. To notify other users via email, click the "Select recipients" and select the users who you want to notify (see #2 in the screen shot below).

Attachment and Number of Comments Icons
We have added some icons to allow you to see more information about items in the milestones, tasks, and folders section of each workspace. The folders, milestones, and tasks sections now show a comment icon if the item has been commented on. You can move your mouse cursor over the icon to see the number of comments that have been made for the item. A file icon will also be shown for items that have an attachment.

Miscellaneous
1. You can now include comments when printing the contents of a folder. Learn more.
2.. We improved the RSS feed for recent activity so that the title is more informative.
3. You can now quick edit a calendar item by double clicking on the calendar item.
4. For our European users, you can now specify the first day of the week as Monday from your preferences.
5. If you are on our Group Plans, you can now turn off SSL data encryption if you don't need it. Pages load faster with SSL off.
6. Group plan administrators can now assign the administrator role to other users. Plan administrators are able to add and remove users from the group plan.
7. Inactive teams are hidden from most of your workspaces. They will no longer show up in your milestones or tasks list. You can create template teams and make them inactive to hide the template milestones and tasks.

Bug Fixes
1. We fixed a bug where bookmarked items that have been archived were not showing up in your bookmarked folder.
2. The date selector for a date field now closes after you select a date. Previously, you had to click on another part of the page for the selector to close.
