Is Assignne notified automatically when you create a milestone or task or do you have to click 'notify via email?
There is an option 'notify via email that has the recipients name that you have assigned it to among other names. Do I have to click their name to inform them by email even though I am assigning it to them?
fyi....when creating this bug ticket it asks:

Whether assignees are notified that a new milestone or task are assigned to them depends upon their notification preferences. Some users prefer not to be notified of these events because they want to be notified via RSS or by looking at their dashboard.
You can force a notification to be sent to an assignee using the notify via email option. The users selected will have their preferences overridden and will be sent a notification email. We plan to eventually list the users that will be automatically notified about new items.
Regarding the "This is a task" option when creating a bug: TeamWork Live uses TeamWork Live's folders for its internal bug tracking system. The "This is a task" option is the same option you see when you create an item in your folders section. The option allows you to add tasks items to a folder. For bug tracking purposes, you can simply ignore it as we will convert it to a task when we begin working on it.

fyi....in our software if we have customers or employees confused and asking questions we usually drop a little ?icon next to the area and copy the type of response you gave below into ?icon to avoid additional confusion by others
