Time Report sort by date

The tasks right now are sorted by the date of the first time entry for each task. If we were to sort it by completion date, where would the uncompleted tasks go? Would they be placed at the end? Would they be sorted by due date with the tasks due soonest at the top?

Are those the only sorting options (completion date or first time entry)? Is it not possible to sort by each individual time entry? That would make more sense. I've just started using this feature, but I already have some larger tasks that have over 5 entries spread out over a couple of weeks. For example, I have some SEO tasks that are search directory submissions that will probably contain upwards of 10 time entries over a few months time - for the same task. I want to be able to run a report for time range showing the actual work that was done during that week (or 2 weeks). It would appear that the way it works now. I may run a report for the previous two weeks and may not be able to see everything if the first time entry for a task was a couple of months ago - even if there was work done on that task within the last week or so. Hmm.. Now that I understand how it is currently working, its a bigger issue than I had originally thought. Hope a fix is possible.

Maybe we didn't write it clearly enough. It sorts the time report by the first time entry for each time for the selected date range for the report. For example, if you have a report for February 2-9 and Task A has time entries for February 1, February 2, and February 6 and Task B has time entries for February 4 and February 8, then Task A will be shown before Task B. The time entry for Task A that has logged for February 1 would not appear in the report.

You said you wanted the report sorted by completion date, but there is a lot of ambiguity in that because some of the time entries could be for tasks that aren't completed yet. Basically we need clarification on what sorting would be most useful.
