How is TeamWork Live licensed?
TeamWork Live is offered as a subscription service. All plans are month-to-month, so there's no long-term contract to sign and you can cancel at any time.
Can we try out TeamWork Live before I pay for it?
Yes, all plans come with a free 30-day trial. You will not be charged if you cancel your plan within 30 days of signing up. If you cancel your plan after your trial, you will not be charged again but you are responsible for charges that you have incurred up until your cancellation.
We also offer a 14-day trial on the Small Group Plan if you would like to try out TeamWorki Live without entering your credit card information first. Your trial plan will be automatically downgraded to the free plan if you have not entered your billing information by the end of your trial. Once downgraded, you will be subject to the limitations of the free plan but you will retain all previously-saved data.
Do I get a 30-day free trial if I upgrade?
The 30-day free trial only applies to new accounts. You are not eligible for the 30-day free trial if you upgrade from the free plan or from another pay plan.
How do the plans work?
Each pay plan includes a certain number of memberships that you can assign to your users. For example, the Small Group Plan allows you to assign up to ten users to your plan. Users assigned to your plan will get access to pay features such as time tracking, reports, shared storage space, etc. Usually, only team members will need to be assigned to a plan.
You can change which users are assigned to your plan at any time from the plan administration page. Please note that any user can collaborate with you regardless of whether they are assigned to your plan. Users not in your plan will simply be restricted from accessing pay features.
Does everyone that are involved in my projects have to be on a pay plan?
No, users can be on the free plan and still collaborate with you on your projects but on a more limited basis. Free plan users do not have access to pay plan features (such as time tracking, access to reports, and use of the group storage space for sharing files). They are also subject to the following restrictions:
- Team members on the free plan can be assigned to tasks and milestones but they cannot assign milestones and tasks of others.
- Clients on the free plan cannot assign milestones or tasks to themselves but they can assign milestones and tasks to other project members. Clients on the free plan can also share files with you using your plan's shared storage space. Clients rarely need to be on a pay plan unless you are using it for an unusual circumstance.

Can I get a larger plan than those listed above?
We also offer a Max Plan for up to 999 users for $249/month. Please contact us at support@teamworklive.com for assistance if you need an even larger plan than the Max Plan.
Do you have a free plan?
Yes, we have a free plan that allows you to manage one active project at a time. All trial plans will automatically be downgraded to the free plan at the end of the trial.
How many project can I manage at once?
Users on pay plans can manage as many projects as they want. There is no upper limit to the total number of projects you can manage. Users on the free plan can manage one active project at a time.
How many users can I have on each of my projects?
There is no limit on the number of team members or clients you can have on a project.
What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a purchase order, invoice you, or take an order over the phone. For organizations without a credit card, we are willing to accept checks in you pre-pay for a full year. Please contact us at support@teamworklive.com if you would like to do this.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. Simply select a new plan from the membership plans page. There is never any fees for switching plans. If you are on a pay plan and upgrade to a larger plan, we will automatically convert the remaining days in your current plan to the new plan so you will not lose any days.
What if I decide to cancel? Do you offer refunds?
You can cancel your membership at any time, on the web, without hassle. There are never any cancellation fees and cancellations can be performed in seconds from within TeamWork Live. If you are not completely satisfied with TeamWork Live for any reason within the first 90 days, you can get a full refund by contacting us at support@teamworklive.com.
Do you offer discounts for academic and non-profit organizations?
Yes, we offer academic and non-profit discounts for our group plans. The rates are $29/month for the Starter Plan, $49/month for the Small Group Plan, $99/month for the Medium Group Plan, and $149/month for the Large Group Plan. Please choose a plan, sign up, and then contact us at support@teamworklive.com to get set up with the discounted pricing.
