Hide Completed Milestones

I'd love to be able  to hide completed Milestones under the Project Workspace. We have many Milestones under each project and I need to be able to see what needs to be done quickly and the grayed out, struck completed Milestones clutter the interface.

I would possibly like to integrate with TWL:

When do you think your API will be available so we can start rolling out some of our own 3rd party plugins for TWL.

(I don't think I submitted this before, but if I have, please excuse me.)

I would like the ability to mark a task complete for which I am the approver.  On some tasks for which I am approver I can do this, but not for all of them. It would be quite helpful to be able to do this, and it makes sense that if I'm approving/overseeing the task I should have the ability to control it.

Retainers

Not sure if the is a bug or configuration issue, however we have some team members who can view the Retainers screen and others who can not... we need everyone on the team to be able to see our clients retainers and how much of it has been used or not used. Is this possible?

Permissions

There is an option to set default permission type, but this option is on per user basis. So when I set it to "make all my newly created tasks private", it works the same for all my projects. But for different projects I need different default options. 

There is no problem to change permission when I'm adding a task via web interface.

But you have such a great instrument - task creation via email. I just LOVE it - it's a great time saver. With one problem - I can't assign task to another project manager. My default permission type is private. So I can actually assign a task to him, but he won't be able to reassign it.

I see two possible ways out of this.

1. Different default permission types for different projects

2. Add an option to set permission type when creating item via email.

It would be great if you could do either of them.

I was wondering if you could add a new view where one could see all the tasks that one is involved in. What I am looking for is a to have a view where I could see all the tasks across all the projects/milestones that I am reponsible (approver of) for. This would be a very useful feature.

Also, if you wanted to further develop that view you could make a view where once can choose the criteria for what tasks would show. For example; a drop down box that allows you choose wether its tasks that one is approver of or tasks that a certain person is responsible for. The general idea is to allow the users to view/sort tasks by multiple criteria.

As we use TeamworkLive for managing our projects - it would be very helpful to us having the possibility of adding a project and/or a task with fixed price/budget.

Any chance of seeing that feature in the future?

Colour schemes

I may be missing something here, but in the Tasks view can one highlight the Milestone headings under which tasks are listed - for example, display them in bold? This would be much easier on the eye, particularly where one has a project with many milestones and many tasks. Thanks

Set and Monitor Hours Spent On MileStone

Hi,

First I will start of with explaining how we use TeamWork Live (TWL).

In order to avoid clutter we treat the "Team WorkSpace" as the Client or over arching project, then the milestones as the projects related to the client etc.

The reason for this is ...it is easier for us to keep track of client work and the "project menu drop down" remains relatively short etc.

Request:
At this time we can set the estimated hour and cost per hour on the "team" level when you create a team. But what would be nice would be the ability to set the estimated hours and the cost per hour on the "milestone" level.

Benefit:
We are currently tracking the time spent on milestone tasks via Freshbooks.com at this time. This requested feature would help us TREMENDOUSLY as we would be able to see IMMEDIATELY when we are about to go over our allocated hours.

If you could throw in an automated email when a milestone goes over its allocated hours that would be a GOD send!
