Data Backup/Export Overview
You can export the data for the projects you are administering from this page for backup or to import into
another tool. Data export is only available to users on pay plans. We support exporting your data in the
following formats:
- HTML ZIP file — Format consists of a ZIP file containing HTML versions of the items in your projects (milestones, tasks, messages, etc.) as well as any file attachments. This format is useful if you want your exported data to be in a human-readable format.
- JSON — Format is useful if you plan to write custom software to import the data into another program
- XML — Format is useful if you plan to write custom software to import the data into another program
