Calendar Overview
The calendar presents you with a monthly view of the events, milestones, and tasks in a workspace.
Your personal calendar shows you all the events, milestones, and tasks across all of your workspaces. From
your personal calendar, you can switch to the personal calendars of your team members. You
can also view all the events, milestones, and tasks across all of your projects by selecting "All projects"
from the selection box.
Please click the "Tutorial" link on the top right corner of the
calendar page to view a quick tutorial
of the features of the calendar.
Subscribing To Your Calendar
If you use
Google Calendar,
Microsoft Outlook 2007,
Apple iCal,
Mozilla Calendar, or any
other program that fully supports the iCalendar standard, you can subscribe to your calendar
in iCalendar format. This will allow you to view your personal or project calendar in your own
desktop computer calendar. Anyone with the URL to your iCalendar URL will be able to see the
calendar data for that workspace so be careful who you share the URL with.
For most desktop programs, you can subscribe to the TeamWork Live calendar simply by clicking on the "Subscribe
to iCalendar" link and selecting the program you want to add the subscription to. For Microsoft Outlook and for
web services such as Google Calendar, you will need to copy the web address for the iCalendar feed and paste the
web address into the appropriate field in the respective programs to complete the subscription. Instructions for
more popular programs can be found below.

Remote Calendars.
Installing Remote Calendars:
- Close all instances of Outlook.
- Download Remote Calendars and run the setup.exe file. You will want to download the latest "Remote Calendars msi" zip file, which can be found here.
- If you get an error message saying "The Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Runtime is not installed", you will need to install VSTO 2005. It is usually included in the Remote Calendars zip file in the "Prerequisites" folder as "vstor.exe.
- If you get an error messsage saying "The Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies have not been installed", you will need to install the Redistributable Primary Interop Assemblies library from Microsoft. This is also included in the "Prerequisites" folder as "O2003PIA.EXE".
- Open Outlook after installing Remote Calendars and its prerequisites.
- A Remote Calendars options screen will appear after Outlook has started and that allows you to configure Remote Calendars.
- After configuring the options, right-click on the "Subscribe to iCalendar" link at the bottom of the TeamWork Live calendar and select to copy the link address (or copy shortcut for Internet Explorer).
- Click on the subscribe to a remote calendar icon that is now available on the Outlook toolbar and paste in the iCal link from TeamWork Live.
- Your tasks and milestones will appear as tasks in the "Tasks" section and your events will appear as calendar items in the calendar.

Why are my milestones and tasks appearing as events in my Outlook 2007 calendar? Why are my milestones and tasks appearing as events in my Outlook 2007 calendar?
Why are my milestones and tasks appearing as events in my Outlook 2007 calendar?
Because Outlook 2007 currently does not support iCalendar to-do items completely yet, your milestones and tasks
will appear as events in your Outlook calendar. This means you will not be able to mark them as completed from Outlook.
We will automatically remove completed milestones and tasks from your iCalendar feed so they do not clutter your Outlook calendar.

I updated an item but it is not being reflected on my iCalendar subscription. How do I update it?
This depends on the calendar program you on using:
1. Outlook 2007 updates its Internet Calendar subscriptions when the program is started. It will also update
the calendar on a schedule that you can set, when you select "Send/Receive" from the "Tools" menu, or when you press the "F9" key.
2. Google Calendar updates on an unknown schedule. The forums suggest that it refreshes every 3-4 hours but some
people have experienced a longer lag. There's currently no way to force an update.
